The Full Day Safari offers the ultimate Yala experience — giving you the chance to explore both morning and evening when animals are most active. With more time inside the park, you can travel deeper through different tracks and less-crowded zones, increasing your chances of spotting leopards, elephants, and sloth bears in their natural habitat. Enjoy a peaceful mid-day break by the beach or river, and experience Yala’s wild beauty from sunrise to sunset — a perfect adventure for true nature lovers and photographers.
Mid-Day Break
*Please note: The mid-day break regulation is only valid for Yala Block 1 safaris.
During the hottest hours(12.00 PM – 2.00 PM), jeeps stop inside the park — usually near the beach or riverbank.
You can relax, enjoy your packed lunch, or take a short nap under the shade.
This quiet time helps animals enjoy peace by the water, undisturbed by vehicles.
Lunch and refreshments can be brought from your hotel or purchased from the beachside shop during the mid-day break.
